The microcopy on this page was designed to alleviate the affects of a huge sweep of outdated content. The goal was to retain users who were looking for bookmarked content while not gaslighting them when they discovered it was gone.
Take a look at the copy on this page, designed to showcase the value of the resources available on Digital.gov. I wrote all of the microcopy on this page to be accessible and clear with minimal burden on the user's cognition.

The U.S. Web Design system is a technical product, but federal agencies are required to write in Plain Language. Ensuring that technical content was readable and understandable was a particular challenge of this role.

Contributor experience
The U.S. Web Design System is an open source, transparent project. It's a small team, so managing contributors and contributor experience was a big lift.
I proposed, designed a more transparent, self-service driven, collaborative contribution process that is now live on the site.
